The Albatros Clifton Low is a metal-free safety trainer from the brand's DYNAMIC line, certified S3 SRC to EN ISO 20345:2011 for general trade, logistics and outdoor site work. In place of a steel toe cap it uses a fibreglass-reinforced composite cap — lighter, non-magnetic and thermally insulating — paired with a flexible anti-penetration midsole made from ceramic-coated fibres rather than a steel plate, so the sole stays supple underfoot while still stopping sharp objects. The abrasion-resistant DUO-PU outsole is cushioned and profiled with wide flex grooves for grip across wet, oily and uneven ground, and carries the SRC slip rating. The upper combines grained leather, suede and water-repellent microfibre with a breathable lining, padded collar and tongue, and a closed dust tab, while reflective detailing at the heel adds visibility in low light. Antistatic protection and an energy-absorbing heel round out the S3 rating. Low-cut and trainer-styled rather than boot-height, it suits keepering, larder, kennel and general estate or trade work where all-day comfort matters as much as protection — a genuinely lightweight alternative to a traditional steel-toe safety shoe.
