The Amblers Safety AS712C is a fully metal-free safety trainer built for demanding outdoor and trade work, from kennels and the larder to general estate and countryside duties. It carries a fibreglass composite toe cap with impact resistance of up to 200 joules and a non-metallic anti-penetration midsole rated to a minimum of 1100 newtons, giving genuine certified protection with no metal components anywhere in the build. It is rated EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S ESD SR, so it also carries ESD (electrostatic dissipative) protection for anyone working around static-sensitive equipment. A breathable, waterproof membrane keeps feet dry, while the flexible, low-sew TPU-bonded Oxford mesh upper and padded mesh collar give a comfortable, trainer-like fit rather than a stiff work boot feel. The dual-density polyurethane outsole is oil-resistant and SR slip-rated for secure footing on wet, muddy or oily ground, and a removable, cushioned PU footbed with arch support adds all-day comfort. A moulded TPU toe guard reinforces the front of the shoe for extra durability.
