The Amblers Safety AS725C Pace is a fully metal-free safety trainer, rated S3L SR to EN ISO 20345. In place of a steel toe cap it uses a fibreglass composite toe cap with impact resistance of up to 200 joules, paired with a non-metal midsole giving penetration resistance to a minimum of 1100 newtons — protection without the weight or cold-conduction of a steel-capped boot. The SR-rated outsole adds slip resistance for wet, oily or otherwise slippery floors. The low-sew, TPU-embossed mesh upper is non-leather and vegan-friendly, with a mesh collar for extra comfort and antistatic construction throughout. Inside, a cushioned removable PU footbed with arch support sits over a shock-absorbing EVA midsole, running down to a durable rubber outsole. Being fully metal-free, it can be a sensible choice anywhere metal detection is used on site, as well as for general trade, warehouse and distribution work, and it suits keepering, larder or kennel duties where a lightweight, breathable safety shoe beats a heavier boot.
