The Antonini Old Bear is a traditional Italian folding pocket knife, handcrafted in Maniago — Italy's historic blade-making capital — and the extra small size makes it a compact everyday carry that fits neatly in a pocket or jacket. The blade is hardened AISI 420 stainless steel, heat-treated to HRC 54–56 and finished with a satin surface that resists corrosion and is straightforward to maintain. The slip-joint mechanism is complemented by a brass safety ring with a locking function that secures the blade in the open position, a hallmark of the Old Bear design. The handle is orange laminated wood, giving the knife a warm, distinctive look while providing a comfortable, secure grip. The Old Bear has been produced by Antonini since the 1970s and is recognised as one of the classic expressions of Italian pocket-knife craftsmanship, equally suited to field use, game handling or as a collector's piece.
