The fabric is breathable and manages moisture well, keeping the skin dry and body temperature steady, and Beretta rates it for use between 0°C and 10°C. Flat stitching in a contrast colour, plus a jacquard Beretta logo front and back, keeps the seams low-profile where the layer sits under other clothing.
