The Beretta Pistol Snap Caps in .380 Auto are a set of five dummy rounds machined from red anodised aluminium, with the Beretta logo on the head and the calibre stamped on each case. Designed for safe dry-fire practice and action testing, these snap caps cushion the firing pin against the hard breechface that would otherwise bear the full force of an empty-chamber strike — a particular consideration for any pistol used frequently for dry-fire drills. With five rounds in the pack you can load a full magazine for a realistic malfunction-clearance or trigger drill session without any live ammunition present. The .380 Auto calibre marking and red finish ensure these dummy rounds are immediately and obviously distinguishable from live cartridges, both by sight and by the feel of the lightweight aluminium body. Useful for chamber checks, function tests, safe decocking and basic firearms instruction.
