The Beretta Rifle Snap Caps in .223 Remington are dummy rounds machined from red anodised aluminium and sold in a pack of two. They are designed for dry-fire practice on centrefire rifles, letting you work the trigger and cycling action without live ammunition and without risking damage to the firing pin or spring. The .223 Rem calibre makes them directly compatible with a wide range of semi-automatic and bolt-action rifles used for foxing, small-game control and target shooting. Each cap carries the Beretta logo on the face with the calibre designation stamped clearly for instant identification. Snap caps of this type are also useful for function-testing the action after a service, safely decocking a loaded-feeling chamber, and teaching safe-handling drills without the risk of a live round. The anodised aluminium construction is robust enough to withstand repeated dry-fire cycles and the spring buffer absorbs striker impact to protect the firing mechanism.
