The Beretta Rifle Snap Caps in .243 Winchester are a set of two dummy rounds machined from red anodised aluminium, with the Beretta logo on the head and the calibre stamped on each case. Snap caps are a practical accessory for any centrefire shooter: they protect the firing pin from the shock of striking an empty chamber during dry-fire practice, extending the service life of the action and allowing safe trigger and handling drills without live ammunition. The .243 Winchester is a widely-used calibre for fox control and lighter deer work in the UK, so these snap caps are well-suited to any stalker or vermin controller who wants to practise their trigger pull or check their rifle's feeding and ejection before a shoot. The bright red aluminium body makes them immediately distinguishable from live .243 rounds, and the stamped calibre marking prevents confusion in a mixed-calibre safe. Sold as a pair.
