The Bestard Canyon Guide is a technical boot built for adventure sports in humid, wet and slippery environments — caving, canyoning, coasteering, white-water kayaking, rafting and tropical or monsoon-season trekking. Its non-marking Vibram Best Idrogrip outsole, matched with an EVA midsole, is designed for grip on wet rock and slick surfaces, while the H2O Microtech and Cordura upper resists the abrasion that comes from scrambling over rock and constant contact with water. A Hidro-Mesh lining and dedicated water-evacuation system let water drain from inside the boot, and the integrated gaiter with cuff closure keeps small pebbles and grit out. The extended lacing system, finished with Quick-lock and a tongue strap, gives a secure, low-weight fit that performs equally well on the approach walk and in the water itself, and reflective elements help with visibility in low light. Built on Bestard's dedicated Canyon last with a flexible Bestflex 2 midsole, it weighs around 1,150g a pair (UK 8).
