Birchwood Casey's Brass Push Jag in 264/6.5mm is a solid-brass cleaning jag built for rifles chambered in 6.5mm calibres, including 6.5mm Creedmoor. It threads onto most standard cleaning rods and uses a pointed tip to hold a cleaning patch dead centre, giving a close, tight-tolerance fit between patch and bore as it's pushed through. That snug fit is what does the work — it drives dirt, fouling and old oil ahead of the patch instead of just smearing them round the barrel, whether you're running a dry patch through after a stalk, pushing solvent-soaked patches through on a full clean, or laying down a light coat of oil before the rifle is put away. Solid brass construction means it won't mark or wear the bore the way a cheaper alloy jag can, and it's shaped to fit most brands of cleaning rod, so it drops straight into an existing kit. It's a small, unglamorous piece of kit, but a properly fitted jag makes a real difference to how thoroughly a barrel actually gets cleaned rather than just wiped through.
