Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Gun Blue Paste is for touching up scratches and worn spots or reblueing most guns. It leaves an even, streak-free blue-black finish on steel that is clean and free of rust. Compared with the liquid version, the paste darkens more slowly but builds up a denser finish. Apply it cold with cotton swabs, a synthetic brush or a sponge; three to four coats give the darkest result. It only works on steel, so it will not blue stainless steel, aluminium or non-ferrous metals, and ordinary washing-up liquid can be used to get the metal fully clean first. 2oz.
