Birchwood Casey RIG-Rag Sheepskin Gun Grease Applicator
S32190
The Birchwood Casey RIG-Rag is a natural sheepskin applicator cloth pre-treated with RIG Universal Gun Grease, made for wiping a thin, even film of rust-preventative grease over the metalwork of rifles and shotguns. RIG grease has protected generations of sporting guns, and the sheepskin pile is the simplest way to apply it properly: a few passes over the barrels, action and other exposed steel leave a uniform coat that guards against rust and corrosion without the mess and waste of working grease in by hand. It earns its keep in UK conditions — wipe the gun down after a wet day on the hill or in the pigeon hide before it goes back in the cabinet, and give everything a thorough coat before long-term storage at the end of the season. The cloth itself is durable and reusable: when the sheepskin starts to dry out, simply work in more RIG Universal Grease and carry on using it. It comes packaged in a resealable zip-lock bag, which keeps the treated cloth clean and ready between uses.
