Birchwood Casey Super Blue is a double-strength liquid gun blue that produces the blackest blue in the range. It is designed for highly polished steel parts and for hardened steels containing nickel and chrome alloys, though not stainless. It is the better choice over Perma Blue when metal has been over-burnished by heavy polishing and the pores have closed up, or when the steel has a high nickel or chrome content. Apply cold with cotton swabs, a synthetic brush or a sponge, and keep it to the area being reblued, as it will affect existing blue. 3 fl oz bottle.
