The Hill EC-3000 is a compact electric high-pressure compressor built for charging PCP air rifles, pistols and buddy bottles at home, taking the place of a hand pump or repeated trips to top up a diving cylinder. It sets pressure up to 300 bar and shuts off automatically once the target is reached, so it can be left to run without babysitting the gauge. Fill times are fast for a unit this size — around a minute for a pistol and around three minutes for a rifle, from empty to 250 bar. Hill have engineered it to run quietly for a compressor, at roughly 75dB, and it carries CE certification with built-in safety features as standard, running fully automated once switched on. It is built specifically for airgun charging and should not be used to fill diving, BA or SCBA cylinders intended for breathing air. It suits anyone filling from home rather than a cylinder cage or dive shop, needing nothing more than a plug socket and a bit of patience.
