Bore Tech's Rimfire Action Cleaning Tool Kit is built for the chamber, throat and action of a rimfire bolt-action rifle - areas that suffer badly from the lead, wax and powder fouling rimfire ammunition leaves behind. Left unchecked, this build-up causes malfunctions and hurts accuracy, yet it's an area most cleaning routines skip because it's awkward to reach. The kit's 20in polished stainless steel rod is machined to a smaller diameter than the centrefire version specifically so it clears the ejector arm inside a rimfire action without risk of damage. A Proof-Positive nylon chamber brush, with extra-rigid bristles, scrubs the chamber and throat, while a polymer cleaning pick and a double-ended nylon gun brush get into the bolt face, breech and other awkward spots without marking any surface. A cotton chamber mop finishes the job by drying out any remaining solvent. Everything packs into a screw-top storage tube - use it once the barrel itself has been cleaned.
