The Bore Tech AR-15 Patch Guide for .223 calibre and 5.56mm is a patented muzzle-end cleaning tool that makes patch work on AR-15 and M-16 platform rifles faster and cleaner. Rather than hand-spiking a patch on the end of your jag — a fiddly process that leaves solvent on your hands, stock and bench — Bore Tech's angled patch plate does the work automatically. Lay a patch over the plate, apply your cleaner, push the rod forward and the guide spikes the patch as it enters the bore. The guide is precision moulded and CNC machined from solvent-resistant synthetic polymer and seats in the chamber via a sealing O-ring, keeping cleaners out of the action. At 13.5 inches in length, it also holds the upper and lower receiver apart and positions the patch plate safely behind your optics. The calibre-specific front adapter aligns the cleaning rod precisely with the bore, preventing drag on the locking lugs and chamber edges and protecting both the rod and the barrel. Interchangeable adapters are available if you clean additional AR calibres. Made in the USA.
