Bore Tech Rimfire Blend is a bore cleaner formulated specifically for rimfire rifles, targeting the lead, powder and bullet-wax fouling that .22LR and other rimfire cartridges leave behind — a different fouling mix to centrefire carbon and copper, which is why Bore Tech built a dedicated blend rather than a general-purpose cleaner. Its surfactant, penetrant and releasing-agent formulation lifts fouling off the bore surface, and users typically see visible strands of lead fouling pulled out on patches during cleaning. It's completely ammonia-free, so there's no risk to the bore from extended contact, and it's odour-free, non-toxic and biodegradable, making it practical to use on the bench or indoors. Rimfire Blend is used by competition smallbore shooters and rifle manufacturers who need a thorough clean without harsh chemicals, and it suits any bolt-action or semi-auto rimfire rifle in regular use. Standard use is wet patches through the bore followed by a saturated brush, repeated until patches come out clean.
