- 2.5in overall length including the spear point, in durable nylon, made in the USA
- Suits solvent application, scrubbing and final dry-patch passes when cleaning a 20 gauge shotgun barrel
Bore Tech's Shotgun Patch Jag is sized for 20 gauge bores and threads onto any cleaning rod carrying the standard 5/16-27 male fitting. Four oversized, flexible nylon petals apply 360 degrees of concentric pressure against the barrel wall, so the patch conforms fully to the bore instead of trailing loosely on one side. Gripping rings moulded into each petal keep the patch held firmly as it runs the length of the barrel, stopping it bunching and keeping contact consistent right through to the muzzle. As the petals compress on the way through, the jag passes straight through fixed and removable choke tubes without swapping to a narrower jag for the last stretch. At 2.5in overall including the spear point, it is quick to spike a patch, saturate it with cleaning solvent and run it through the bore, then follow with dry patches until they come out clean. Made from tough nylon in the USA, it is a simple, effective way to keep a 20 gauge barrel properly clean after a day on the peg or in the field.
