Bore Tech's Shotgun Stix 2-Piece is an aerospace-alloy cleaning rod that splits into two sections, a 20in length and a 16in extension, giving a combined 36in working length for shotguns from .410 to 10 gauge. Using the 20in section on its own suits a short-barrelled shotgun, while joining both sections handles a full-length barrel, so one rod covers more of the cabinet than a fixed one-piece design. The break-down format also means it packs down small for the range bag or gun cabinet rather than needing a full-length case. Despite the join, the rod keeps the rigidity and non-rotating action Bore Tech's Shotgun Stix are built for, so a brush or jag tracks straight through the bore instead of twisting against fouling. The tip is female-ended with a standard 5/16-27 thread, taking Bore Tech's own shotgun patch jags and bronze bore brushes directly. Working length is the rod only; add roughly 5.5in for the handle when working out overall reach. Barrel-safe alloy construction, made in the USA.
