Bore Tech's V-Stix is a one-piece coated cleaning rod for rifles chambered in .17 to .20 calibre, with a 36in working length suited to standard sporting rifle barrels. The rod core is steel, wrapped in Bore Tech's durable high-performance coating that resists chemicals and stays hard rather than softening and trapping bore debris the way a bare or painted rod can - the enhanced core also keeps the rod rigid, minimising bow and flex as it passes down the bore. The free-floating handle rotates on a ball bearing so the rod turns with the rifling rather than working against the shooter's wrist, and it is colour-coded grey to mark it out at a glance as the .17-.20 calibre rod when several V-Stix sit together in a cleaning kit. A replaceable brass tip on a female 5/40 thread accepts standard jags and brushes without an adapter, and being brass rather than steel it won't mark or damage a rifled bore.
