Bore Tech Walnut Shotgun Stix 1-Piece 32in Rod
S168069
- One-piece hardwood (walnut) cleaning rod, non-splintering, with a brass tip
- Fits 28 to 10 gauge shotguns
- 32in working length (add approx. 3.625in for the handle to get overall length)
- .500in rod diameter, sized for wider shotgun bores
- Non-rotating rod keeps a brush or jag tracking straight through the bore
- Female 5/16-27 thread tip, compatible with Bore Tech shotgun patch jags and bronze bore brushes
- Traditional wooden handle, made in the USA
Bore Tech's Walnut Shotgun Stix is a one-piece cleaning rod turned from solid, non-splintering hardwood rather than alloy, finished with a brass tip and sized for shotguns from 28 to 10 gauge. The 32in working length and thicker .500in diameter suit the wider bores of 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge shotguns, and the timber handle gives a warmer, more traditional feel in the hand than a moulded alloy grip, which suits anyone who prefers wooden gun-room kit to match their cabinet. Like Bore Tech's alloy Shotgun Stix, it's a rigid, non-rotating rod, so a brush or jag tracks straight through the bore rather than twisting against fouling, and the brass tip won't mark the muzzle. The rod is female-ended with a standard 5/16-27 thread, so it takes Bore Tech's own shotgun patch jags and bronze bore brushes directly. Working length is the rod only; add roughly 3.625in for the handle when working out overall reach. Proudly made in the USA.
