These are unprimed Lapua .243 Winchester brass cases, supplied 100 to a box, for handloading your own rifle cartridges. They are empty cases only, not loaded ammunition: there is no primer, powder or bullet fitted, so the handloader controls every stage of the load. Lapua is a Finnish maker with a long-standing reputation among precision shooters, and the .243 Win case shares the build quality of the company's well-regarded .308 Winchester brass. Cases are drawn to tight, repeatable tolerances at the base, body and neck, which helps deliver consistent shot-to-shot velocities and lets the brass be resized and reloaded many times before it is worn out. The .243 Win case is designed around the Large Rifle Primer. It is a popular choice for UK deer stalking, where 100 to 105 grain bullets suit larger species, as well as for fox control and longer-range target and varmint work with lighter bullets. Cases arrive in Lapua's cardboard 100-piece box, which protects the brass in transit. Components and load data are the handloader's responsibility.
