The Croots Malton cartridge belt is a traditional waxed bridle leather belt made in Britain for the 12-bore game and clay shooter. Croots use age-old methods, with each carefully selected skin hand-cured and stained to a smooth aniline finish before a blend of fats, oils and waxes is worked in, feeding the hide, adding a deep layer of protection and giving the leather its distinctive look that only improves with age and use. The belt carries 25 open cartridge loops sized for 12-gauge shells, held muzzle-up and immediately to hand, backed by a wide leather stopper band that keeps the cartridges seated and stops them shifting as you walk. A solid brass buckle, 2in wide, fastens it securely and ages handsomely alongside the leather. Cut as a Large to fit a 42in to 48in waist, it suits the driven game shot, rough shooter or clay enthusiast who would rather carry a day's cartridges on the hip than dig through a bag between drives.
