The Clulite A40 Red Filter is a glare-free coloured filter designed to fit the 4.5-inch head found across the Clulite Clubman (CB), Smartlite (SM) and Lazerlite (LA) spotlight ranges — including the CB1, CB2, LA2, LA4, LA9, LA10, SM64, SM610, SM126 and related models. This version combines both screw-fit and flip-up mounting action in a single unit, allowing the filter to be screwed firmly into position or swung clear of the beam in one movement without removal. Red filters reduce glare from reflective surfaces at close range and are a popular choice for lamping rabbits and foxes at night, where a softer-coloured beam can help avoid startling quarry. The kit is supplied complete with an extension rim and the red filter disc, ready to fit straight onto a compatible Clulite lamp head.
