The Columbia Konos TRS OutDry is a lightweight, low-cut hiking shoe built for road-to-trail versatility, equally at home on a day walk or a fast-paced trail run. Its OutDry waterproof-breathable membrane is bonded directly to the outer shell rather than left as a loose liner, so there's no gap for water to work its way in and no soggy lag once the upper gets wet through. Underfoot, the Omni-MAX system pairs a TechLite+ midsole with deflection domes in the heel and forefoot to absorb impact and return energy, while deep flex grooves in the forefoot keep the stride efficient over rough or uneven ground. The Adapt Trax outsole is compounded and patterned specifically for grip in both wet and dry conditions, giving confident footing on mixed terrain. A technical mesh upper with no-sew overlays keeps the shoe light while adding durability and support where it's needed, and the Navic Fit lace-webbing system locks the heel in place for a secure, stable fit on the move. A rear pull loop makes the shoe easy to get on and off. Well suited to walked-up days on rough going as well as general hillwalking.
