Nosler Custom Competition 22 Calibre (.224") 52 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail bullets are match-grade component projectiles for handloaders, supplied as a box of 100 unprimed bullets — this is not loaded ammunition. Nosler builds the Custom Competition line on highly concentric jackets and ultra-precise lead-alloy cores, hand-inspected for quality, giving competition and long-range shooters consistent, repeatable accuracy at a keener price than the premium Match Grade range. The small meplat created by the hollow point reduces drag and lifts aerodynamic efficiency downrange, while the boat-tail profile helps retain velocity and a flat trajectory at distance. This 52 grain bullet has a bullet length of 0.730", a sectional density of 0.148 and a ballistic coefficient of 0.220, making it a well-known lightweight 22 calibre match bullet often used in .223 Remington for short to mid-range benchrest and club target shooting. For UK handloaders working up loads for paper-punching or club competition, these give consistent, well-inspected bullets without the cost premium of Nosler's top-tier match line.
