Nosler Custom Competition 7mm (.284") 168 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail bullets are match-grade component projectiles for handloaders, supplied as a box of 100 unprimed bullets — this is not loaded ammunition. Nosler pairs a custom-quality, highly concentric jacket with an ultra-precise lead-alloy core to deliver extreme match performance, hand-inspected for quality and offering competitive shooters consistent accuracy at a keener price than the premium Match Grade range. The small meplat created by the hollow point reduces drag and increases aerodynamic efficiency downrange, while the boat-tail profile helps retain velocity and a flat trajectory at distance. This 168 grain bullet has a bullet length of 1.290", a sectional density of 0.298 and a ballistic coefficient of 0.520, giving strong long-range performance in 7mm cartridges such as 7mm Remington Magnum and 7mm-08 Remington favoured by UK target and F-Class shooters. For handloaders working up loads for paper-punching or club competition, these give consistent, well-inspected bullets without the cost premium of Nosler's top-tier match line.
