The Dog & Field Rabbit Fur Long Throw Dummy Ball is a gundog training dummy built around a solid rubber ball core, giving it more weight than a standard rabbit fur tennis ball and letting handlers send it further and with more control. Wrapped in natural rabbit fur, it holds and releases scent as it rolls, laying a genuine trail for a dog to work out on a line. A long throw cord is fitted to the ball, so it can be launched well beyond normal hand-throwing range without a dummy launcher, making it easy to set up longer, more varied retrieves. Its weight and shape mean it bounces and rolls unpredictably on landing, much like real quarry, and it is compact enough to bury itself into light cover for a harder, more realistic mark.
