Eley Tenex sits at the top of Eley's .22LR range and is aimed at shooters who want the greatest possible consistency from every round. It draws on more than 180 years of cartridge making, with every round produced on modern equipment, checked by high-speed electronic visual inspection and controlled using Six Sigma methods. Each cartridge carries a 40-grain flat nose bullet with a beeswax-tallow lubricant, leaving the muzzle at 331 m/s (1085 ft/s) with 104.9 ft.lb of energy and still travelling at 285 m/s at 100 yards. Cartridge length is 25.4mm. Sold in boxes of 100 rounds. A valid firearm certificate with the appropriate calibre is required; collection from our Stirling or Perth shops.
