Evapo-Rust removes rust by immersion, with no scrubbing required. Submerge the rusted part fully and check on it after about 30 minutes; depending on how heavy the rust is, the type of steel and the temperature, soaking can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours. Because it is water-based, it works faster when warm and slower when cold, so a bath temperature above 60°F is recommended. A surfactant helps it work through oil and dirt, but removing oil, grease and cosmoline beforehand speeds the process, extends the life of the solution and makes disposal of spent liquid easier. 500ml bottle.
