Federal's Gold Medal Large Rifle Match primers are a reloading component, not a loaded cartridge, intended for handloaders building match-grade centre-fire rifle ammunition. The GM210M is a large rifle primer manufactured to exacting tolerances, giving the consistent, reliable ignition that has made Federal's Gold Medal line a favourite among precision shooters. Each primer uses Federal's basic lead styphnate priming mix, chosen for clean, repeatable performance shot after shot, which is exactly what you want when load consistency translates directly into tighter groups on the range or a confident shot on a deer at distance. Supplied as a pack of 100, these primers seat in standard large rifle primer pockets and suit handloads for popular stalking and target calibres such as .308 Winchester, .30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor, among others. As with all priming components, they should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and naked flame, and handled in line with the manufacturer's safety guidance. In the UK their sale is controlled, so a valid firearm certificate covering the relevant calibre is required at the point of purchase.
