The Gerber Lockdown Pry is a pocket-sized multi-tool built around the jobs a folding knife alone can't handle. Its 2.5in blade locks open via a frame lock, and sits alongside a cast pry bar for popping, prising and light demolition work, plus a nail puller and large and small flathead drivers for the fiddly jobs that turn up around vehicles, gates and kit. Scissors and a replaceable #11 utility blade cover finer cutting tasks, a file with a chisel edge takes care of rougher finishing, and a built-in bottle opener is there when the day's done. Stainless steel handles keep the tool solid in hand, with a closed length of around 4in and a weight of 5.7oz, so it carries easily in a pocket without becoming a burden. Finished in Onyx, it's a compact, well-specified back-up to a main knife for anyone who wants pry, cutting and driving tools together in one small package rather than reaching for several separate tools.
