The Härkila Field Trial Double Knee Trousers are designed for high activity outdoor work where durability and freedom of movement are essential. Developed as part of the technical Field Trial series, they are well suited for dog training, field maintenance, and long days spent in demanding terrain. The trousers are constructed using a combination of strong polyester canvas ripstop with mechanical stretch and flexible Oxford stretch fabric. This material blend provides excellent resistance to wear while allowing natural movement when walking, kneeling, or working close to the ground. A durable water repellent treatment helps protect against light rain and dirt, keeping the fabric drier and easier to maintain. Reinforced double layers at the front of the legs from above the knees to the hem increase protection in high wear areas. Additional reinforcement at the inner hems helps prevent abrasion from boots and rough surfaces. An elasticated waistband with jeans style button closure ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while adjustable ankle straps allow the cuffs to be tightened around footwear for added protection. Practical storage includes top entry pockets and large zipped thigh pockets for secure storage while working in the field. A robust D ring at the waistband provides a convenient attachment point for leashes or equipment.
