The Hawke Frontier FFP 5–25x56 SF is the larger member of the Frontier FFP range, adding a 56 mm objective and an upper magnification of 25× while retaining the same H7 optical platform and first focal plane layout. The FFP MOA Hunter reticle, calibrated at 25×, scales proportionally as you change power so holdover and wind corrections remain accurate across the full 5–25× range. The reticle carries a fine centre dot — 0.24 MOA on this model — flanked by graduated holdover marks extending to 32 MOA below and 16 MOA of windage holds either side, with thick outer posts for fast acquisition when shooting at lower magnification. Hawke's H7 optics use 21-layer fully multi-coated, low-dispersion Crown glass, delivering a field of view of 7.5 m at 100 m on 5× down to 1.5 m at 25×. Eye relief is 100 mm and the side focus parallax adjustment reaches from 14 m to infinity. Exposed Zero Lock 'n' Stop elevation turrets click in 1/4 MOA steps with push-pull locking and a firm zero stop for reliable return to zero. The 30 mm nitrogen-purged mono-tube chassis weighs 698 g at 365 mm, and the scope ships with a removable throw lever and metal flip-up covers.
