The HIKMICRO Thunder 2.0 builds on the original Thunder Pro with a redesigned chassis and a 640 x 512px sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch and NETD below 20mK. It shares its sensor with the Falcon FQ50 monocular, and the sensitivity lets it pick up very small temperature differences and build a detailed image, so you can identify the heat source and understand the backdrop before taking the shot. The 50mm F1.0 lens gives 2.6x optical magnification, with 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x digital zoom. Focus is by a redesigned dial on top of the scope. Software includes one shot zero, picture in picture, recoil-activated recording and the HIKMICRO Sight app for streaming and controlling the scope from your phone. The removable Li-ion battery pack gives up to 6.5 hours of runtime with Wi-Fi and hot tracking disabled and can be recharged away from the gun. The housing is magnesium alloy, rated IP67 and the scope weighs 0.53kg. It comes with a rail.
