The Hornady AeroMatch is a 6mm boat tail hollow point match bullet in .243in diameter and 105 grains, supplied as a component projectile for handloading rather than as loaded ammunition. AeroMatch takes the most popular match bullet profiles and weights already proven across the industry and reproduces them to Hornady tolerances, which means you can switch to them without reworking your load: the same powder charges, the same die settings and the same ballistic solver inputs carry straight over. The 105gr weight in 6mm is a mainstay of F-Class, PRS and long-range target work, and with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .536 and a sectional density of 0.254 it holds velocity and bucks wind well past 1,000 yards. A 1-8in twist or faster is recommended to stabilise it. Bullets are made in small production batches and packed in 500-count boxes (sequential 3,000-count cases are also produced), which is what gives AeroMatch its bullet-to-bullet and batch-to-batch consistency. Supplied as bullet heads only, with no cases, primers or powder, for reloaders building their own rounds. Sold in a box of 500 (Hornady item 245731).
