The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 2-Die Set for 243 Winchester (.243) is a capable reloading die set for handloaders working with one of the UK's most versatile deer-stalking and foxing calibres. The full-length sizing die restores fired brass to SAAMI minimum dimensions using the Hornady Elliptical Expander, which sizes the case neck with less friction and less case-neck stretch than conventional ball expanders — internally threaded to prevent the expander pulling loose. The Zip Spindle on the sizing die locks positively and accepts both fine incremental and rapid gross adjustments. The in-line bullet seating die is fitted as standard with a floating alignment sleeve that aligns the bullet, case neck and seating stem before the bullet enters the neck, giving consistent seating depth and lower run-out — helpful whether you are loading for accuracy at the range or producing field rounds for the hill. A built-in crimper handles roll crimping without a separate die. Both dies come with Sure-Loc lock rings that clamp around the full die body without bearing on the threads.
