The Hornady G3-1500 is a compact, battery-operated digital scale designed for the reloading bench. Built around a precision load cell, it delivers 1/10th grain accuracy up to 500 grains and a maximum reference measurement of 1,500 grains, giving you the range to weigh powder charges, bullets and cases in a single tool. The large backlit LCD display is easy to read under bench lighting, and the scale is quick to set up and calibrate using the supplied 10g calibration weight. Four measurement units are selectable — grains, grams, ounces and carats — making it equally useful for checking cast bullet weights or verifying case trimmed lengths. Its trickle-compatible design lets you add powder incrementally into the pan and watch the charge build in real time. Powered by two AAA batteries (not included), the G3-1500 is self-contained and needs no mains connection, so it travels easily to the range or a second reloading station. A draft shield and powder pan are included.
