Hornady's Superformance CX in .25-06 Remington pairs one of the fastest factory rifle cartridges with a lead-free monolithic bullet for versatile, high-performance hunting. The 90 grain CX (Copper alloy eXpanding) bullet leaves the muzzle at 3,350 fps, generating flat trajectories that make it well suited to open-ground deer stalking and foxing at extended ranges. The CX design features relief grooves that reduce bore friction and pressure, while the nose peels back into controlled petals on impact, retaining over 95% of bullet weight for reliable penetration and consistent terminal performance across a wide range of shot distances. Superformance propellants boost velocity by up to 200 fps over comparable conventional loads without raising chamber pressure, increasing felt recoil, or creating additional muzzle blast. Brass-cased and boxer-primed, making cartridge cases fully reloadable. Supplied in boxes of 20 rounds. A valid Section 1 Firearms Certificate is required to purchase centrefire rifle ammunition in the UK.
