The Hornady PTX Powder Measure Stop is a small adjustment component for the Hornady Case Activated Powder Drop. It allows the reloader to set the degree of flare applied to case mouths during the powder dispensing cycle, using top and bottom adjustment screws to dial in the exact amount of bell required. Getting the flare right matters: too little and bullets are difficult to seat cleanly; too much and brass life is reduced. This stop component gives precise control over that setting without having to change the PTX expander insert itself. It is a dedicated add-on part for the Case Activated Powder Drop system, suited to reloaders who want repeatable, consistent case mouth preparation across a loading session.
