These Hornady Small Decapping Pins are replacement components for reloaders running Hornady Durachrome (old-style) reloading dies. Decapping pins take the brunt of the work in the sizing die, driving out spent primers case after case, and they do occasionally snap or wear — particularly when processing crimped or Berdan-primed brass, or if a primer pocket is slightly off.
