Hornady Universal Shellholder Extension for Reloading Presses
S118692
- Raises shellholder height on Hornady reloading presses for improved case-to-die reach
- Fits between the press ram and shellholder — no tools required to fit or remove
- Solves clearance issues when die thread length or case length creates awkward geometry
- Compatible with Hornady's standard shellholder system
- Useful when switching between short pistol brass and longer rifle cases on the same press
- Compact machined accessory — supplied ready to fit
The Hornady Universal Shellholder Extension raises the shellholder position on Hornady reloading presses, giving the ram the additional reach needed to work with cartridge cases that would otherwise sit too low in the die. It fits between the press ram and the shellholder, making it possible to size, deprime or seat bullets in cases that standard shellholder height cannot accommodate without modification. A straightforward press accessory that solves an awkward geometry problem cleanly, it is particularly handy when switching between short pistol brass and longer rifle cases on the same press, or when die thread length creates a tight clearance issue. Machined to fit Hornady's standard shellholder system, it installs and removes quickly without tools. A compact but genuinely useful addition to any Hornady press setup where case-to-die reach is marginal.
