The Lightforce Striker 170mm Infrared Spot Filter is a clip-on cover designed for use with the Striker 170mm handheld sporting light. Supplied without logo, it fits directly over the lamp head to convert the Striker's output to infrared light — suited to security, surveillance, and covert operations where an invisible light signature is required. Unlike the red or green filters used for conventional wildlife spotting at night, the infrared filter is intended for use with night-vision equipment, making the beam invisible to the naked eye. Lightforce specifies that this IR filter must be used with a GL04 globe; using it with other bulb types is not recommended. The filter clips on and off without tools, allowing rapid swap between configurations in the field. Constructed to the same standard as the Striker lamp itself, it is robust enough for field use in demanding conditions.
