The Knivegg Black Micarta Blade Liner Pair provides two matching micarta liner sheets for use beneath knife handle scales, adding a clean contrasting accent layer between the scale material and the blade tang. Each liner measures 130mm x 40mm x 1.2mm and is cut from black micarta — a tough, stable composite made from layers of linen or canvas fabric bonded with phenolic resin. Black micarta liners are a popular choice in custom knifemaking for the clean, subtle contrast they provide against both light-coloured natural handle materials such as wood and bone, and dark synthetic scales. Sold as a matched pair, the liners are intended to be shaped to the handle profile and fitted before final scale assembly. At 1.2mm thickness they add minimal bulk to the overall handle stack while achieving a professional finish at the scale edges. Suitable for new custom builds, handle replacements, and restoration work across a wide range of knife styles.
