Genuine Lightforce replacement red filter for the Pred6x, the compact 248g scope and rifle-mounted lamp built for medium-range hunting on foot. The Pred6x uses a rubberised, flip-up modular filter mount at the head of the lamp, and this clip-on red lens fits straight onto it in seconds, swapping the lamp's white beam for red without any tools or fiddling. Switching to red is the usual approach when quarry is easily unsettled by white light — deer and other wary game are far less troubled by it — so it's a handy option to carry alongside the lamp's standard white beam for stalking after dark. The filter is moulded from tough, impact-resistant polycarbonate to cope with the knocks of regular field use, and it's built to the same fit as the filter supplied with a new Pred6x, so it's a straightforward replacement for a lost or worn original, or a useful spare for anyone using the lamp across more than one gun. At 185mm long and 248g, the Pred6x itself is Lightforce's smaller stablemate to the Pred9x, aimed at hunters who want a lighter lamp for carrying on foot.
