The Marttiini Deluxe Classic is a traditional Finnish sheath knife built around the maker's long-running Lynx blade pattern — a drop-point profile with a blood groove and pot hook that has proven itself as an all-round field knife over many years. Made in Rovaniemi, it carries a stainless steel blade finished at 11cm (around 4.3in), with a total length of 23cm (around 9in). The waxed curly birch handle is fitted with a finger guard, so it sits securely in the hand even when wet, and the knife comes with a genuine leather belt sheath. It's a general-purpose knife rather than a specialist skinning blade, at home on the hill, at the riverbank or around camp — equally suited to fieldcraft, fishing and everyday cutting tasks. The natural figure of the curly birch is brought out by a protective wax finish, giving each handle its own grain, and the finger guard adds a practical safety margin when the knife is worked hard. The same blade and handle shape is also available with a textured rubber grip as the Marttiini Condor Classic.
