The MDT Rear Bag Rider attaches to M-LOK compatible and legacy buttstocks, such as the MDT ESS and SRS V5 and newer, and adds 5in of surface to interface with a rear bag (4in for the steel version). It is angled to match the underside of MDT buttstocks, giving a flat, horizontal surface for linear recoil, and has rounded front and side surfaces to reduce snagging on bags and gear. The slim profile matches the buttstock width, and there is no rear overhang to interfere with length of pull or butt pad adjustment. It is made from 6061-T6 aluminium with a Mil-Spec Type II hard anodised finish and weighs 0.215lb.
