This enclosed forend replaces the existing forend on the MDT XRS chassis system for additional barrel protection. It has an integral ARCA and RRS/dovetail interface along its full length, plus M-LOK slots at the 10:30, 12 and 1:30 positions for lights, weights and other accessories. It accommodates barrel profiles up to 1.25 in, although M-LOK accessories may interfere with a barrel that size. The top M-LOK interface is designed with night vision in mind and co-witnesses an M-LOK picatinny rail at 20 MOA with the MDT High Scope Base on Remington 700 inlets only. Made from 6061-T6 aluminium with a hard anodised finish, it re-uses your existing XRS forend side panels and includes all installation hardware.
