The Mora Curved Wide Scalloped Boning Knife features a 158 mm (6 inch) stiff, wide blade with a scalloped — or granton — edge that reduces suction and meat adhesion as the blade passes through flesh. The hollowed scallops along the blade face create air pockets that prevent the meat from sticking, resulting in cleaner slices and less tearing. The curved profile helps the blade follow the natural contours of a carcass, and the stiff construction means you can apply direct pressure without the blade deflecting off course. At 158 mm, the knife is well sized for boning out haunches, shoulders and similar joints on deer, lamb or pigs. The black polyamide handle provides a firm, hygienic grip and is easy to clean after butchery sessions. Mora's stainless steel blade takes a reliable working edge that holds up to the demands of the larder or abattoir. A specialist boning knife for those who process larger quantities of game or livestock at home.
