The Morakniv Classic No. 2 Blade is a genuine replacement blade for the Classic No. 2 craft knife, made from German carbon steel (C100S) in Morakniv's factory in Mora, Sweden. The 105 mm blade is 2.5 mm thick with a full rat-tail tang and a Scandi grind — the same traditional profile that has made Mora blades a favourite with woodworkers, carvers and country craftsmen for well over a century. At 58.5 HRC, the carbon steel takes a keen edge quickly on a simple sharpening stone and holds it well through extended use. The Scandi grind gives direct, predictable feedback when carving and is straightforward to reprofile in the field. Whether you're extending the life of a well-worn Classic No. 2 or building a custom handle for a new knife project, this blade delivers the sharpness, stiffness and balance that Morakniv is known for. Blade only — no handle or sheath included.
